PTFE thread seal tape is firstly made into rod or strip by molding method, under the action of compression force, the residual deformation of the resin, and then put it on the roller press machine rolling, under the roller pressure, then spread into a certain thickness and width of the thin strip, and finally remove the extrusion agent and make into the thread seal tape.

PTFE thread seal tape is a kind of sealing material with good property such as corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. It can be used as sealing material for pipes, corrosive fluid conveying pipes and steam pipe joints.

PTFE thread seal tape is also called sealing strip or stop-drain tape. It is made of PTFE dispersion resin by paste extrusion, calender without any additives. It’s white color with smooth surface, uniform texture, excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and self – adhesive, good adhesion, good sealing property. It can be widely used as pipe seal in pure oxygen, gas, strong oxidant, strong corrosive medium and high temperature steam pipe screw port, and also complex filling seals in pump, valve and complex shaped equipment.
PTFE thread seal tape has many excellent performance. Such as very low friction coefficient, non-stick surface, wide range of operating temperature -180℃~ +260℃, excellent aging resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, and so on.
